The company offers a great variety of means for the chemical-technical processing of yarns, which cover about 12% of the turnover, as well as of fabric, which cover about 69%, always according to trends and fashion, although fabric dyeing is more profitable.
This activity consists on providing dyeing, printing and finishing services for knitwear and yarns on account of industrial and small industrial units, which produce ready made knitwear. Among our customers stand respectable firms, such as Minerva, DUR and Hellen's Club Raxevsky.
The biggest part of our production, though, involves processing on account of exporting industries, which carry out orders from all big department - stores abroad, such as Marks and Spencer, Gallery LaFayette, Kaufhof, Hertie, Hennes&Mauritz, Top Shop Burtons, Replay, as well as athletic product companies such as Adidas and Reebok.
The processing of conventional cotton yarns and fabrics came up to 95% of the production. After the abolition of the export premium in the textiles sector and the intense competition in cotton products from third countries greek companies had to put up with, the company's administration, detecting the further increase of competition, turns its course toward high added value processing, where quality, design and the continuous changes in fashion and trends constitute the basic success factors, by emphasizing the use of artificial and synthetic fibers.
This strategy leads to the occupation of the company with this market sector, which has high demands and set firm specifications. In this market sector, as expected, the international competition is limited and gain potential are bigger. In this market the company possesses a highly competitive position, given that it combines immediate services of excellent quality and competitive prices.
Parallel to this, the company follows the developments in the textile branch, and stays in position to detect in time and satisfy all market needs, by investing in equipment for new forms of processing.

    Production procedures
The existing production lines and the modern mechanical equipment, enable the company to process the widest possible range of yarn and fabric of any given composition.
The company, with its facilities, mechanical equipment and machinery, is in position to cover a wide range of yarn and fabric processing procedures, so that it may well be placed among the top companies of its sector.
The dyehouse receives unprocessed yarns and fabrics of any given composition (natural, artificial or synthetic), which receive the chosen color and properties, like stability of gauge, flexibility, weight, etc, after being appropriately processed.
The productive process is executed according to the batch system and unprocessed fabrics follow a line, depending on the specifications, where similar machined refine the products and add characteristics such as shine, special touch, velvet, fuss, sanforization, merserization, water-proof properties etc.
The company, with owned trucks is carrying out reception and delivery. Delivery times of the goods vary according to their technical specifications, with an average time of 7 days. Delivery time is a very important factor, given that department stores and retail firms in the European Union pursue a policy of gradual reduction of stock.
The annual production capacity of the fabric dying department comes up to 7.650.000 kg of fabric and that of the yarn dying department comes up to 940.000 kg of yarn.
The printing unit has a capacity of 1.200.000 kg and includes 4 printing machines (3 rotary and 1 flat), from which one rotary is unique in Greece, with printing capacity of 12 colors. The printing unit with its high pressure-steaming unit is the most advanced in Greece and possesses high levels of flexibility, given that it can print on any raw material.
The company follows strict specifications in regard to the processing procedures, as well as in regard to raw materials, dyes, and other chemical substances provided by the most famous local and foreign houses, the most important of which are CIBA, CLARIANT, SANDOZ, BIOXPÙÌ, UNIXEM, and keeps a fully equipped chemical laboratory and quality control department,.
The most important goods providers of the company are the German firms MARUBENI DEUTCHLAND GMBH and DYSTAR.
Let us point out that none of the company's providers represents more than 10% of the turnover and there is no reliance on any of those providers.
Demand on dying and finishing work appears to vary, depending on the time of year, as in ready-made wear. Thus, TEXAPRET SA appears to use more effectively its productive capacity during the four-month period of September to December and April to June.

    Sales and distribution network.
The nature of the company's activity does not require a big sales and distribution network. Nevertheless, the company owns a well organized marketing department, because it pays special attention to personal contacts with clients in an attempt to satisfy any possible fabric processing demands in the shortest possible time, offering clients the possibility of custom made services.
The company's clientele includes more that 300 names, mostly from Northern Greece, where most of the garment industry units have their seats. Among the most important foreign clients are KOMAR TEXTILE TRADING CO LTD- HUNGARY, P.P. VAROW PROMET - FYROM, DISCUS ATHLETCI -YUGOSLAVIA, MAKO D.O.O- YUGOSLAVIA, and NAAI- YUGOSLAVIA.
Most of the clients work long and steady with the TEXAPRET SA.
TEXAPRET SA counts on the development of steady and trustful relationships with the clients and is aware of its comparative advantage in fabric processing. As a result it is in position to choose clients among the top and healthiest business of the textile industry, without depending on only a few of them in regard to activities and sales. Thus, non of the clients represents more that 10% of the turnout.
